Hey people! thwe ni blogging here! woah it's been so long since i last blogged.(too busy with exams) so sorry to all who had been continuously checking and tagging the blog especially sathish!! There are a few announcements for the main band:

1.there will be rehearsals on 3 Nov(mon), 5 Nov(wed) at the bvps. All are to assemble at the band store @ 1pm.(pls help me spread to those who din come for practice on fiday) Rehearsals should end at about 7pm and dinner will be provided.

2.please remember to practise hard because the actual performance would be on 6 Nov(thu)

3.those who have yet to give a photocopied report slip please pass it to HUI MIN by the next band practice and it is compulsory

4.please do pay your band fund $7 to SALLY the next practice

those who read this blog please do pass the blog's URL to others...i don't really want the band blog to die so fast *sob sob* okay anyone who have any question please remember to sms any of the seniors to ask and do take care of yourselves before the performance. HELLO PEOPLE!!! It's thwe ni posting here. It's quite late to say this but i hoped you guys enjoyed the band camp and have fun as A TEAM. With regards to your reflections, i hoped that you guys wrote it seriously from your heart and i really hoped that you all learnt something valuable duing the camp. I don't want you guys to come for band with sunken hearts.

Whatever we want for the next year SYF, all we have to do is to stand together as ONE BAND,nothing is impossible to get. And next year i hoped that our band could get GOLD but in order to get that we must work together as one. ONE BAND ONE HEART ONE SOUND

Disliking band and not coming for practice because you dislike the conductor or whatsoever are just your excuses. If we could work together as ONE BAND,we can do greater things with or without our conductor.

If you got a problem with the teachers,the seniors or the commitee,we welcome you to say it to OUR FACE. Don't bother hiding behind your stand,chair,instrument or computer. Just say it at our face and clear up all the conflicts. We can only work together if there are no conflicts among the members. PEOPLE REMEMBER!!!

During the last band practice, Mr Hoe taught us on our rhythmic studies. I seriously hope that you guys would used what Mr Hoe had taught us and applied it in your playing. The most important part of the rhythmic studies is your articulation. You should learn to apply accent in some notes and short tongue-ing in others. Then in this way we can deliver our rhythm more clearly. So ya last practice Mr Hoe had given us some homework:

1. rhythmic studies-you guys should have written it down in your notebook so remember to practise at home using ur instrument or clapping, take note of the accents and short tongue-ing

2. pirates of carribean-remember to practise you pirates of carribean from bar 28 to 40++ i think and try to get yourselves familiarise with the notes. If possible try practise beyond what Mr Hoe had asked you to practise

This blog, unlike the band website, will allow our fellow band members interact more often with one another and the EXCO. And also this bog will keep you guys updated for events and practices so there is no reason for you guys to tell us that you are not informed of the next practice hor ^.^. Most importantly, we just need want you guys to tag more often in the tagboard and keep the blog alive!! Please don't let the blog die T.T..okay now back to topic.

The exams are just over everyone should be heaving a sigh of relief right?? so am i*sigh* I have guessed that eveyone has given all your best for the exams hopefully. I'm not so sure but i think that band is starting again on WEDNESDAY [21st MAY] so everyone is expected to turn up kay?? no skipping of band is allowed on that day unless of valid reason. band will start at 2.30pm and eveyone is to turn up in their BAND TEE. please inform us if you are coming late or there is something you need to attend via msn or the tagboard. i hope that you guys have been practising with your instruments lately if not *evil glare* . ya so that's all for now, more updates will be coming up once the band starts. please come to this blog for more updates for the next practice's details.
